The song in the trailer for the film Another Earth may sound familiar. The song is “That Home” by the Cinematic Orchestra featuring the vocals of Canadian artist Patrick Watson. It has the same melody as “To Build A Home” and is practically a cut down version of it. Both songs have been quite extensively used in TV shows. A few of those include Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, Friday Night Lights, So You Think You Can Dance and One Tree Hill. While they were all great song placements, I don’t know if any were as well done as this. Look for this one in our top 10 trailer songs at the end of the year.
