Our post of Every End Credit Song From Entourage, Ever got a lot of people talking to us about their favorites and asking about ours. Some even asked if we would rank them all. We considered that for all of about 5 seconds. There are too many great tracks. So we thought of breaking it down by genre and since there is so much good hip-hop in the show, we thought that would be a good place to start.
Faced with the task of ranking them we quickly saw how difficult it would be and to be honest, we’re kind of lazy. So instead of trying to select the best songs ourselves we went to someone who knows a little something about hip-hop. Suzie aka Big Sue is an Assistant Program Director, DJ and Mixer at Memphis’ #1 hip-hop radio station WHRK K-97. We gave her the difficult task of selecting the top 16 songs. She did a great job. Here are the top 16 selections (Click to enlarge).
The first round had a couple of really close battles. Looks like we’re in for a tight finish. Here are the 8 finalists, vote your favorites! Ready? Fight!
“Lucifer” by Jay-Z VS.“All Eyez On Me” by 2pac

“Work” by Gang Starr VS.“Lady Don’t Tek No” by Latyrx

“In My Lifetime” by Jay-Z VS.“Lapdance” by N.E.R.D.
Couldn’t all make it. Selection committees suck – Just ask NCAA tourney bubble teams.
